Jeans are usually made on a conveyor belt: manufacturers try to reduce the costs of each pair and resort to step-by-step (operation-wise) jean-making process. It takes 10-15 minutes to make a pair at a factory. Each factory specialist usually performs only one operation: one person attaches a pocket, another one sews a belt on. In Bulichev Jeans Atelier, a pair of jeans is made by one person – a true professional – from start to finish. All parts of each item are sewn together with a thin thread, and all stitches are perfect. Belt loops are made on a special loop machine, and each seam is properly fixated with bartacks. A complex two-needle sewing machine helps dressmakers process rise parts and yokes in such a way as to ensure their seams are sturdy and neat. This complex technological process is a whole orchestra of nuances that the professionals have been noting down for several years.
