Maizel, a brand created by stylist Isabella Mishieva and costume designer Kamilla Avdeeva, was born in August 2023 spurred by the founders' personal need for feminine clothing. "We have a lot of minimalist and casual pieces in our wardrobes, but we lacked something delicate and elegant that may also be used both for daily wear and festive occasions. The name of the brand – Maizel – is quite symbolic. In Hebrew, "mazal" means "luck" or "happiness."
