She draws inspiration from the traditions of Russian national costume, handicrafts, architecture and works by such painters as Vasnetsov, Bilibin and Malyavin. All pieces by Vilshenko are notable for their “Russian aura”, unique tailoring, polished silhouettes and the utmost exclusivity of prints. Vilshenko combines best elements of Russian fashion traditions and the western approach to textures (mastered by Olga Vilshenko during her studies in London).
