LIAS ASALY
The designers of the Russian brand Lias Asaly have chosen the land of the rising sun – Japan – as their object of love. They draw inspiration from its mythology and history, people and nature, culture and aesthetics – both modern and traditional. This oriental influence is reflected in their designs: jackets with pointed shoulders that symbolize torii (gates supposedly leading to other worlds) resemble elements of traditional Japanese kara-hafu and pagoda architecture, while pleated metallized fabrics and woven bamboo raffia resemble medieval samurai armor.
